Hello Audio Friends,
Like so many others, there has always been the fascination with audio devices. Back in the day when portable radios and record players were in just about every home, there was the sound that came out of the speaker, if it was, what was considered a huge 12” speaker in a floor model radio like Philco or Zenith, although the wattage amplification was low, the sound still seemed really good, the bass from the larger speakers was always noted.
In today’s market there is a audio product for any need and the old vintage vacuum tube products still have their place today, even moving into more recent times of the 60s and 70s. Back in the day of the sixties and seventies the audio market exploded with high end audio products that the average person could afford, such as the Pioneer, Marantz, Kenwood, fisher, and other silver Faced components and awesome speaker systems such as Empire, Pioneer, Wharfedale, Klipschorn, Fisher, Kenwood, Electrovoice and McIntosh.
The advent of the transistor really made its way into higher powered amplifiers, a high power amp could be purchased, such as the Pioneer Spec amp or for those that liked to tinker, amplifier kits such as Dynaco and Heath Kit could be purchased and built.
At Audio Transducers LLC. our interest is to continue to bring to market a variety of Vintage, Home and Pro Audio Components and Accessories some available for restoration, others ready to be put into use. We have audio products that are close to new, in some cases, have been used very little, other cases, have no use on them.
